OSO Creative (getoso.ca) is a Calgary based website design and marketing company. We are a growing company and are looking to add 1-2 great sales people to our team.

Duties include a variety of sales and business development strategies which may include networking events, word-of-mouth referral marketing, market research and competitive analysis, social media, emails, phone calls, and in-person sales and lead management.

The products and services being sold include website design packages, webhosting, SEO, as well as branding and other marketing solutions.

We provide basic training of sales and leads techniques, as well as education on our products and services, however, similar to the hours worked, the methods and techniques applied are up to your own discretion as long as you’re representing the company in a professional manner.

This position works with and reports directly to the CEO and Creative Director, although you are able to work from your own home/office, with your own vehicle, with your own strategies, on your schedule. You are expected to track time and progress/leads efficiently.

– be likeable and good with people

Great to have:
– knowledge of website design or development, wordpress, branding, and marketing
– previous sales experience
– a large network of business colleagues and corporate contacts

Compensation begins at 100% commission (with basic expenses included) for a 3 month probation period. After 3 months, if both parties deem the progress a success, there will be an hourly rate of $15-30 added on top of the usual commission rates. This hourly rate may increase based on results. Custom business cards will also be provided. An additional 5% gross added on top of regular commission rates for sales above and beyond standard packages.

For context, the standard website package delivers an average of $600 sales commission and  requires 12 hours of work, equating to an average hourly rate of $50/hour before additional hourly rate or performance bonuses.

Total number of hours per week is up to your own discretion. We recommend anywhere between 4 and 40 hours a week.
