Most of the websites we build are within the WordPress platform. As of 2015, we switch to WordPress as responsive design became more important to Search Engine Optimization SEO and the web browsing usage on mobile devices increased dramatically. WordPress is also great because while it allows a web developer to still get into the code, but also allows a non-tech savvy business owner to fairly quickly and easily be trained on how to manage their own content. This let’s them update their website and blog whenever they want, without needing to rely on or pay a “web guy”.
Another plus to WordPress is its compatibility with thousands of other software platforms and the literally millions of plugins available for use. This drives down cost as almost any functionality you might need, has already been built by someone else and can simply be plugged into your WordPress website.
When OSO Creative builds a website, we include a full in-person, or over-the-phone training session on the WordPress system, showing the client how to update text, add photos, post blogs, etc. If you need a refresher on WordPress, or maybe someone else built your WordPress website and never really showed you how to use it, we’d love to teach you how to take control of your website.
